Winter Holiday Season Card Making Contest

Winter Holiday Season Card Making Contest begins 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on December 1, 2006 and ends at 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2006. Winners will be announced on January 1, 2007 on GreenSneakers and Kreate-a-lope.com.

Contest Location:

Prizes:

(1) Grand Prize – US $100.
(2) Second Place – US $50.
(10) Third Place – Kreate-A-Lope Scrapbook kit (item R39100 from GreenSneakers.com - approx value: US $25)

How to enter:

(1) Visit: The Green Sneakers Gallery to submit your favorite original Winter Holiday Card and coordinating envelope to the Winter Holiday Card Gallery.

(2) Register for a gallery user account (it’s free). Your confirmation email will contain a link back to the gallery where you can then enter your ID and password in order to upload your contest submission(s).

(3) Take a picture or scan of your Winter Holiday Card AND Envelope and upload it to the gallery (instructions on the site). Files must be less than 100k and/or 72 DPI)

(4) In the “add comments” section - we need a list of the supplies you used on your card.

(5) Here’s the fun part – we’d love you to include one paragraph about “Why Do We Honor the Tradition of Sending Winter Holiday Cards.” Please post this in the same “comment” section with your supplies list.

(6) The winner will be determined by a point system including, but not limited to, viewing popularity, so be sure to have your friends visit and click on your entry.

Official Rules:

1. Eligibility: Contest is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada with mailing addresses in the United States and Canada. Must be 18 years or older to enter.
2. Enter as often as you like. However, only one prize per person per contest will be awarded.
3. Each Card submission must have a coordinating envelope (not necessarily made from a template from Green Sneakers, Inc).
4. Each submission requires one photo of your coordinating CARD AND ENVELOPE (less than 100k or 72 DPI), a list of supplies used for making the card and an original paragraph to the stated contest question/theme. Entries not meeting these requirements will not be eligible for prizes.
5. Previously seen cards and envelopes are acceptable.
6. Contestants are responsible for taxes that may be incurred as a result of winning this contest.
7. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.
8. No cash substitutions, transfers, or assignments of prizes allowed, except by Sponsor in case of unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded.
9. All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to release Sponsor, its affiliates, successors, assigns, distributors, directors, offices, agents, agencies and any party assisting in developing and delivering this contest from any and all liability for injuries or damages of any kind sustained through participation in this contest or use of a prize once accepted.
10. Each potential winner will be notified by email on or about the conclusion of the contest. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, an alternate entrant will be selected in his or her place.
11. Entry constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, picture, likeness and city and state of residence for purposes of trade, publicity or promotion without further consideration and for no additional compensation.
12. Employees of Sponsor, Prize Sponsor(s), their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to enter.
13. Green Sneakers, Inc., its parents, affiliates, successors and assigns, reserves the rights to publish all submissions. After the contest closes, albums will remain published, and edit access will be closed.
14. No purchase necessary. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.
15. All questions about the contest, the prizes, and/or the rules can be addressed to Contest or the
Green Sneakers’ Blog- kreate-a-lope.com.
