Instructions:
- First form a large sheet of paper by zigzag stitching a strip of the orange dot paper between two sheets of Harlequin paper until you have a sheet that is several inches larger than the wine bag template. By creating a sheet that is larger than necessary, you will have more flexibility about where to place the seams. Note that the area next to the widest side of the template will become the front of the bag. Place template in desired location, then trim and fold paper following instructions that come with the bag kit.
- Add embellishments before forming the bag (i.e. while the paper is still flat). For this bag I’ve used the Thanksgiving rub-on and metal sticker placed as shown above.
- Continue forming the bag, creating handles out of chenille cord.
- Create topper out of orange dot paper and ink edges with walnut ink.
- Tie handles together with satin ribbon and add silk autu mn leaves as desired.
