Instructions:
- Cut the two-sided patterned paper to the Parallelogram Card template size. Cut the coordinating patterned paper to the size of the front of the parallelogram card (half of the card’s overall size). Evenly cut ½ inch off the right side, and ½ inch off the top side of the coordinating patterned paper. Cut a piece of the olive cardstock to the size of the front of the card. Cut an inch off the right side, and an inch off the top side of this piece. Cut the vellum quote to the size of the olive cardstock piece. Fold your card in half – along the marked edge, as per the card template directions. Fit the coordinating patterned paper in the middle of the front of the card, and layer the olive cardstock piece on to it. Adhere those layers down. Using Glue Dots – Vellum, as per the directions on the package, adhere the vellum quote to the olive cardstock. Place blue metallic dots on the four corners of the vellum quote. Decorate the inside with a phrase on an oval cutout.
- To make the matching envelope, simply use a sheet of medium blue cardstock and follow the directions for the Parallelogram envelope. Using the same method for centering the mats on the card, we’ll make mats for the envelope address plate. Cut a piece of the two sided patterned paper the size of the envelope front, and cut ½ inch off the right side, then ½ inch off the top side. Cut a piece of aqua cardstock the size of the envelope front, and then cut 1 inch off the right side and 1 inch off the top side. Using the Distress Ink, run the ink pad along the edges of this top layer, or dab ink on in blotches. Make the envelope, using the two-sided patterned paper for the liner. Ink the edges of the front of the envelope. Center and glue down the patterned paper layer, and then center and glue down the aqua cardstock layer. Your envelope is ready to address!
