By Ann Kristen Krier

Scramping, the marriage of scrapbooking with stamping, allows you to combine two of your favorite activities in some unique rubber stamp ideas and scrapbook ideas. The rubber (and foam) stamps which you already own, in conjunction with your favorite colored inks, or paper paints and your favorite card stock offer great new possibilities for card making and scrap booking ideas. Here are a few:

Using letter stamps and paper paint create original title blocks and borders. Stamp letters on different colors of card stock or mix up your alphabets for an edgy look. Using big pattern foam stamps (flowers, leaves) create a background on your papers – plain or patterned.

After completing your scrap book page, add elements of design by stamping on transparency paper or coordinating papers and use as decorative elements. Stamp directly on your photographs to add an element of texture. Create mini – mats by rubber stamping on a rectangle or circle large enough to be used as a mat for your pictures. Place them on your scrap book page or use for the front of a card.
