Instructions:

  1. The first thing you will want to do is to make your own large sheet of paper by ironing 3 full sheets of Spring Green paper to freezer wrap. Set your iron on a high setting and use a firm surface to iron on. The goal is to make a sheet which is larger than the template, so it’s OK to let some of the scrapbook paper hang off the edge of the freezer paper. Add additional adhesive if necessary to ensure the seams lay flat. (Note: if you don’t have freezer paper, you can achieve the same results by applying adhesive around all the edges of the paper and adhering to a large piece of plain white paper – often times you can find this art paper sold on a large roll with children’s art supplies.)
  2. When you have your large sheet of custom paper, follow the directions that come with the Bigger bag template to make a “landscape bag” using the face emplate to determine which part of the paper will become the front of the bag – in this way you can ensure that the seams where you pieced the papers together will be on the sides or at the back of the bag. When you place the largest template on the paper, the opening closest to the wide edge will become the front of the bag.
  3. After you have folded the edges of the bag, but before you have adhered the sides together, is the ti me to add any e mbellish ments such as eyelets, brads, etc. For this bag use the inside piece of the Kreate-a-tag te mplate to tri m a piece of Teal paper and mat with Red, as shown. Apply the flowers sticker and sta mp “just for you” using black ink and apply to front panel of bag. Continue for ming the bag according to the instructions provided with the te mplates.
  4. Use the bag topper template to make a bag topper out of the Red paper. Add a hole to the front side of the topper and “tie” on the tag sticker. Apply baby powder to the back of the sticker part that hangs over the edge to neutralize the adhesive so that the tag won’t stick to the bag itself.
  5. Create handles out of the Margarita ribbon by adhering the ends to the inside of the bag.
  6. Use the bag-a- mite te mplate to create a coordinating bag out of the teal paper. Skip the step where you adhere the top flap down and instead fold it over hen the bag is finished and secure with a sticker.
